Anyone who thinks this is funny would probably laugh at a car wreck.

I too expected not much and ended up having quite a few good laughs. What I'm happy about is that others really enjoyed the show.

I watched this because Bill Shatner was on it and I love his sense of humour(doesn't hurt that he was born in Canada either). But I certainly wasn't expecting to laugh from the time it started and until the show was over. Well, except for when they had an amazing view of Mount Fuji. But, at times I was laughing so much I had tears rolling down my face. I can't wait for the next episode. What a great bunch to put together.

by accident I happened to tune in to Ep3, Seoul Brothers, just they were eating the still wiggling live octopus!
they were laughing and grossed out, and I was laughing right along with them...

then Winkler says, "Every meal on this trip has been like a hazing ritual."

what a great line! 

that's it! I was hooked!
I laughed all thru' the episode...
now I have to watch the first 2 eps on "On Demand"... 

next week is the final of this 4 episode summer show, and I look forward to it...

Completely agreed. I never even heard of the show and just happen to stumble across the first episode by accident. I don't even care if it's partially scripted, I'm laughing my ass off.

Not so much! Maybe these reviews were all written after only one show. After the first show, it became annoying. Looked and sounded like 4 dirty old men having fun pursuing Asian women for their own amusement. Often becoming like real bad slap-stick! Not really funny at all. Closer to stupid.
