Seemed like they was not worried at all about their identity being exposed or witnesses being able to identify them. How was they thinking if they got away with the money they was gonna go back to their normal lives?

Yes, when I saw the director is Micahel Bay, I expect dumb movie, but this take it to another level of dumb. And don't make me start on police fire to the robbers not behind covers, BUT walk toward the robbers. WOW, are they robotcop or terminator? Don't worry auto firearm shooting at them.
shareYeah and i forgot to say they was shouting each others real names infront of the cop and infront of the bank employees, i was thinking ffs at least use fake names, its bad enough you're not even bothering to cover your face up but to then go around shouting your real names is beyond stupid. Might as well shout out your address while you're at it and say your wife's name.
It just felt like "well we got Jake Gyllenhaal we wanna show his face" yet there was no attempt to have it make any kind of sense, so the character just looks stupid.
He kept talking about "I'm gonna get us home" no you're not, everyone has saw your fucking faces and heard you say your real names, lose the cops and get away with the money you're still fucked.
Not to mention Danny says something about his brother being a marine in front of the cop. One of the robbers was wearing flip flops and they call it out. I think Bay is trolling with how stupid this one was.

shareLol exactly, the sloppiest most careless bank robbers of all time, literally no effort went into hiding their identities so they wouldn't be caught if they got away with the money.
Seriously if they got away with the money they would be identified in 5 minutes by witnesses and finger prints and police would be at their homes arresting them.
Well, it's supposed to be a simple heist!
shareNo masks, no gloves, dropping detonators with fingerprints and DNA all over them, using first names, bringing that useless hippy thief doofus that wanted to steal baubles for his girlfriend, mentioning past military service and talking about wives within earshot of the hostages…these guys were not getting away with this heist from the get-go. They would all have been busted in a few weeks with no crazy shootout and vehicle chase.
It was a big, coordinated and expensive plan and nearly everyone on the robbery crew screwed up!
The only one who kept it together was that seemingly stoned auto painter guy who got called in at the last minute.
Fun movie though, it was very exciting and fast paced.
