There must be some gimmick going on pushing this show up to 7.5. There is literally no possible way the majority of people who watch this show have that high of a liking to it. I'm very easy going and like a lot of shows. This show was absolutely terrible. IMDB needs to check on how their ratings are applied because there is no possible way this is a 7.5 show.

I also thought it started out kinda slow but got better. I would give the entire season a 7.
shareAbout to say the exact same thing. The first 3 episodes maybe 4 were pretty bad in my opinion but I kept with it and you're right as the season progresses the show finds its rhythm and it actually gets pretty good.
shareHmm. Ok. I turned it off after 10 minutes. It's was like a school play or something. I have a very low 'make me laugh' threshold (ie I laugh easily, but still discernibly) and this didn't even raise a smile for me. I was actually embarrassed for the actors.
Maybe I should skip forward to ep5?

I think a 7 or 7.5 works fine because imo the show gets better in episodes 5-10. Especially Heathers character development.
Actually believe it or not your opinion means nothing outside of your home. Obviously most people like this show and i completely agree that it is a very good one.

As far as this show is concerned, I had high hopes for it based on, a) the cast, and b) the reputation Netflix has established putting out quality original programming. Boy, was I disappointed!
The rating is accurate. I like it as well. Comedy is very subjective. I grew up in this lifestyle so It appeals more.
shareI like the show, I like the actors and the roles they play. I like that they get messages across in easy going way mixed with some comedy without the comedy or the moral over shadowing each other.
I like Sam Elliott's character and the way he relates with his sons.
The laugh track is a bit over used in my opinion.
Over all for a 30 minute show that I have binge watched both seasons of, I rate it an 8.
As always, if you do not like the show, instead of coming here and complaining about it, Just do not watch it. That's what I do.
I wasnt sure at first but i think people have to give it a chance, now i am into it. I love Sam Elliot anyway and his dry humour goes well.
Actually i have laughed out loud a few times watching this, which i cant say i have in many other comedies which people rave about.
Yeh its ok, i would recommend it but again people have to give the characters a chance to develop. I would give it 7.5. Great cast, funny, dry, naughty, a good all round mix. Better then a lot of rubbish on Sky thats for sure.
I think 7.5 is correct, it's funny, well acted and interesting, the only bad thing is the stupid laugh track.
shareI was so surprised at the 7.5 also. Especially since it's rated under three stars on Netflix. I don't know where all these fans are coming from. It's not a terrible show but it's not good either.
