But then I saw the trailer for it and said NOPE! I've seen the simply awful "Cloverfield Paradox" and that's the only, crappy made-for-Netflix Sci-Fi I will watch this year.

I did watch this movie The Titan and it was okay, like one of those movies you wont watch again but found it interesting enough to pass two hours.
Alex Joins would have a field day with this movie as it tackles exactly what he has talked about with the Trans-Humanist movement going on behind closed doors across the globe. Taking animal and human DNA and growing things that are not animal but not human either, so they dont fall under animal protection laws or human rights laws. To create beings that are basically Alien to our world and use them to "move humanity further" and create a splinter society that'll leave earth behind.
