Was there really a twist?
Some contrived connection to an obscure movie from almost 20 years ago is hardly a twist. How many people who see "Split" will even know that Willis was in "Unbreakable," let alone what that movie was about? Some kind of connection between "The Beast" and the fact that Kevin worked and lived at a zoo would have been better. Do we really need another movie (presumably Shyamalan's next) about a superhero fighting a supervillain? (Answer: No!)
