plot points unexplained makes for a half ass movie (spoilers)

The idea behind the movie is good, but the fact is there is a lot of *beep* that just don't get explained at all. (spoilers ahead)

1. the band on the road
-----------------------------------------------------------------
what happened to the missing girl?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Who is this family, and how did they come to adopt the twins?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Did the girl that got killed in traffic actually have anything to do with the missing girl?
-----------------------------------------------------------------

2. guy in a car/strange bar creatures/old guy with shotgun
-----------------------------------------------------------------
how come the hospital/city is empty?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
who are the "other two" people that talk on the phone with him (we saw 1 woman)?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
what kind'a city is this, and why is it filled with strange creatures that drink beer?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
What is this eye society, and why is it?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
how did the brother find this strange place after 13 years of looking?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Why did they let the driver go, and how come he was (if it is) already in purgatory
-----------------------------------------------------------------

3. family killed/guys seeking vengeance
-----------------------------------------------------------------
what did the father do, to the daughter of the vengeance seekers?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
how is this supposed to link with the band and car crash?
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Honestly I have more questions but I am getting tired of asking, so anyhow these will do.

The answer is that there are no answers. They never bothered to create a coherent narrative. And without explaining at least some of it, the filmmakers give us nothing to be invested in. I just wrote this review on Amazon:

Boring and Derivative
I'm getting tired of horror anthologies that operate on a partial idea for a story, with too much emphasis on mysteriousness and gore but with no investment in character or payoff. Also, nothing is explained. There's a difference between not explaining too much and explaining nothing at all. This was a simple exercise in atmosphere and that alone doesn't do it for me. Want to see one even worse than this, watch XX

really? you had to put that stupid shit on amazon as well? xD

I'll add more tomorrow because I'm falling asleep. But as for the first point, what happened to the girl, it literally showed her in the cult family barn. I thought it was pretty obvious they abducted her (remember one of the twins says "I thought there were four of them and the Mom shushes him). Then when the..main girl...is hiding from the other two, they walk by and the one they thought was dead confronts her.
