What do you guy's about the epic helicopter chase for me it's the best action set piece stunt i ever see in theaters experience I ever witness i mean its was epic since he climb the rope until the epic fight in the cliff and i think its the best stunt that ever made
Some of the remarkable action sequences from earlier in the film could be my favorite. But, the helicopter chase is without question one of the finest chase/action pieces ever filmed. It’s as jaw-dropping as a big climatic battle in the Mission Impossible series can possibly get.
And huge thumbs up to Tom Cruise. In addition to really dangling from that choppa (unsurprisingly), he was also flying it. So intense.
Maybe I'm missing something here guys, this unbelievable chase was a low point in the series and for a poor action sequence at any rate. It ranks up there with John mc lane fighting vs a jet in die hard 4.
I thought the movie overall was barely ok, and when it was finally picking up some interest in the story, it dropped super low with this lame ass idea of stopping the bad guy's chopper by crashing into it with another one...wtf...is this a cartoon or a spy movie?
I watched the infront of the scenes scene, I'm allright with that but thanks for the tip.
I thought we were talking about what we saw in the movie: that was cartoonish.
Cartoonish! This an epic action sequence that never done before with epic stunts since he climb the the rope to the fight in the cliff and that was 99% real and this what Mission impossible and tom cruise are all about so we all should respect tom cruise for his effort in making the stunts that no other actor have a guts to do half of these stunts in mission impossible movies since part 4 especially
Hey Rafat, I can tell you're a big fan of MI and Tom Cruise, but I don't understand what do you find is the added value of these "real stunts" in the movie.
I didn't find the action one bit more believable than the unbelievable crap that it really is, no matter if TC was actually jumping himself around the stage (yes, it's a stage, sorry to break it for you but he was not actually doing any of that stuff for real).
A good action sequence is way more believable, like any sequence in Terminator 2 for instance, no matter if it's using a stunt double or special FX: it's how the sequence is made and what action is happening that's gonna sell it, so I don't understand why you care so much about that the actor was not using a stunt double or other tricks.
First of all whether you are hater but these movies since 4 it's huge critical and box office success that why Fallout got a 97% at rotten so its one of most successful action franchise of all time....
Also you say you don't care about its cgi or stun double but this is what these movies and tom cruise are all about...
And you don't like the action sequence! What about Halo jump from 20 thousands feet its jaw dropping sequence(he filmed for real of course) and the bathroom fight was fun and the whole Paris chase was epic (of course tom was doing all the stunts in the car and motorcycle) and don't forget the foot chase in London and tom injured in that scene because he do his own stunts and you don't like the helicopter chase! That was an epic action sequence since he climb the rope and driving the helicopter (he trained for 2 years how to driving helicopter just to film this sequence) and the last fight scene in a real cliff and not in front of green screen...
Tom cruise is the best action actor because of his stunts and that is a fact wherever you like it or not....
It kinda feels like you are trolling here, I'm trying to get a honest opinion not some blasting of how Tom Cruise is the best action star because you say he is.
You keep repeating the same crap over and over.
Are you getting paid by him for this or is it just something you get off to?
The decision to make Hunt an idiot at helicopters was brilliant. That really upped the white knuckle tension and put us, the viewer, right in the hot seat with him. Also, the whole climbing sequence on the rope was actually giving me vertigo.
