Another worthless piece of tripe being pass off as entertainment. The writers of this show, a little more than angry SJW's, taking aim at everything American, with their whinny progressive attitudes, and pretending it's humorous. There is zero original thought, zero humor, zero talent contained in the script.
Save yourself the agony, and move on to the next channel.
I agree Viking. I couldn't even watch the first episode because it has Samantha Bee's f@#$%^g name on it. I don't like anything about that woman.
shareNot sure what show the people here who hated this were watching, but it's clear they're not here just to bash this show, but to try to push their version of America -- the America in which no one who thinks different or looks different from them. If you don't like people from other countries -- like Samantha Bee and Jason Jones -- how about figuring out a way to go back in time and kill your ancestors who were born in other parts f the world, cause none of us started out here.
And as for the show, it's an acquired taste, but it's definitely funny, at least in parts. Ad it doesn't bash America -- it bashes the stupidity of some people who happen to live in America (including the main characters, who do some really stupid things). There's a difference.
TBS really took a swing and a miss on this one. I watched a couple of episodes and most of the comments by some of the people here are right and I believe they are being very objective. TBS has hit gold with "Angie Tribeca" and I hope they keep that comedy for a long time.
shareAs far as traditional family sitcoms go, this has got to be one of the best ever. The writing is brilliant and the four family members play so well off one another.
As far as "SJW" blah blah blah, the only thing I can see here is the person with the gun in the Christmas town. And, shocker, Sam Bee and Jason Jones want more gun control!! Who saw that coming??
They make fun of America because it's written by Samantha Bee, who hates America, but lives here anyway and makes money off of it. For the idiots who simply say, "just don't watch it", you're clearly missing the point, and it's the simple-minded ignorant population that you consist of that makes this kind of low class entertainment acceptable and part of the norm.
