I can't believe there is not a single thread on this board yet on mr Botto. Michelle Dockery is without a doubt incredible, but the chemistry and atmosphere they are able to create together is what carries this show and makes it stand out from all the dramas right now on tv. From previews of following episodes and the show so far, it is clear that he also has a wonderful ability to communicate feelings sometimes with little dialogue. He caught my eye years back in El Greco.

Mesmerizing performances by both of them. Really hope the show does well!

He is doing a fantastic job. I do not know what to think of Javier: he's a killer, but it's impossible to hate this character.

He's super hot but I think much of that hotness, for me, is the character. He's my newest spank bank addition.

Totally agree. He is one of the sexiest actors I've seen and he is such a good actor. I absolutely love Michelle Dockery and am so happy they found a guy that can stand by her with his acting skills. While she is perfection at the con scenes and has amazing movement, I think he outshines her in many scenes that involve a lot of emotion (talking to his sister, the end of the Ballad of Little Santino, talking on the bed in ep 8). He conveys so much in a simple look. I like that a lot is unsaid between them- it saves the show from cheesy dialog needed for other actors/shows. Their chemistry is amazing!
