Chomp should not have won
Chomp spent the majority of the fight on its side not doing anything. How is that a victory?

shareOn it's side is getting to be Chomp's native stance. The judges don't see that as being knocked over anymore. It just happens, so it's going to have a big advantage when it comes down to judging.
Regardless, I feel Chomp won. It's first hammer blow was miraculous, and damage dealt with main weapons is the biggest scoring factor. Period.

That fight was exactly that, a miraculous blow, right in the beginning. I can't believe they got that chain off on the first hit. I was bummed when that happened. It could have been a great match, but on topic, Chomp won. Bite Force just shoved Chomp around.
shareOne lucky blow does not make chomp a good bot, it just means it got lucky. Which is what it seems to run on, luck. And on its side. Biteforce still had control over the majority of the fight. Even without its main weapon it had control over chomp while chom just flopped around, being useless.
shareI agree with the points that Chomp doesn't seem as well designed as other bots in the competition, and that they got a lucky hit right off the bat. But that was enough to turn Bite Force into a wedge bot, and wedge bots are looked down upon by this new sanctioning body. You can't even enter as a pure wedge bot. While BF had more control of the fight, Chomp certainly racked up the points, thanks to the 4 or 5 hits she had. Chomp deserved the win.
And yeah, I don't know either was BF is trying to prove with the redesign. He had already gotten lucky to win before, luck finally ran out. Also not a well designed bot. At least not compared to some like Bronco and Minotaur.
Joe Bless You!
Chomp sucks. It can't even do a single attack without spazzing out and injuring itself. Easily the worst design in the season. I'm looking forward to seeing it literally blown up by one of the spinners or drum bots.
shareIt's all based on the new rules. Once Bite force lost its main weapon it lost the fight. Pushing a bot around and controlling it like Bite force did would have meant a win last year but not anymore. Chomp got that lucky hit and it was over. The amazing thing is Chomp got the same hit a second time towards the end and both were when Bite force was moving. When Bite force was stuck on its chain Chomp only swung twice and both were useless. If it was targeted hits at vulnerable spots I would say it was less luck. Either way, you lose your main weapon you lose the fight.
shareChomp won, he did more damage and destroyed the other bot's main weapon on the first hit, after that it was over. Was it lucky? Yes, but that doesn't mean he didn't deserve the win. All bitefoce did after that was push chomp around whenever Chomp tipped over which was after every attack.
Bots like Chomp are basically built to win by point system. They are not built to KO but to last the whole fight and force a decision, because their main weapon takes advantage of how the point system works.
Imho based on damage chomp won with the killer blow,
but on control aggression bf won..
but as this show and other have said damage is always the bigger point earner..
for me it should've been bite force they controlled the match despite no weapon..
chomp is a fan favourite which apparently is another point earner.
if i were biteforce i'd call bs on the judges and demand a second opinion.
I agree, Chomp shouldn't have won
shareI still don't understand why a champion bot goes through such a radical redesign. Foolishness. Tweak? Sure. But what came out this season was not a good bot.
If you buy a ticket for a remake, you are the problem, not Hollywood.
He had to do it to meet the requirements of the new rules. He needed an offensive weapon and not just a wedge to push bots around. Not sure how much time he had but it did seem like his weapon failed a lot. So either he had little time, Biteforce overall design didn't give him room to make stable weapon or something else.
shareits new age feminism propoganda, they pushed the bad machines made by girls such as mega tento and chomp up the ladder. Even they put these machines into easier pools and much better bots lost in earlier rounds as they had to face tombstone/minatour .
shareChomp deserved the win. Actually, Bite Force is a really poor bot. If anything, Bite Force is the bot that depends on luck to win, especially last season. All it did was shove the other bots around with its wedge. That got old fast. Boring. Say what you want about Chomp, but it puts on a great show. Always entertaining to watch.
