Wtf people really think they can take out a bear with a bow?

I get that its possible, but bears can be tough to kill with a fricking rifle, let alone a bow and arrow. And these guys have nowhere to go...if that first arrow doesn't kill the bear, they better hope it incapacitates is...because there's nowhere out there to run that bears can't get you. Up a tree, in the water...
Really having a hard time picturing the couple of guys who are "excited" at having seen signs of bears...actually taking out a bear with a recurve and regular arrows.
I could see entertaining it as a possibility maybe, but not being "excited" about the chance to risk a gruesome fucking death.

These people are in zero danger of death if they take a potshot at a bear or a moose, because I can guarantee you that there's somebody behind the camera with an elephant gun or a rocket launcher, ready to take out any dangerous wildlife that looks like it might hurt someone. Hell, there probably isn't a bear or moose at all, they just tell the contestant to improvise a scene of encountering a bear, and the CGI in a fake bear or use stock footage to make it all look real.

These film production companies are NOT in the business of courting "Wrongful Death" lawsuits from the families of contestants or crew members. Or in courting bad publicity, from former contestants who are going to whine about trauma or negligence, so nobody is in any physical danger.
