As I recall (and I was around then) Thatcher did not talk like a stroke victim with a tree branch up her ass. Absolutely ridiculous.

shareI question why they cast American actors in two of the most iconic British personalities. Churchill was played well but by an American and Thatcher wasn't played well at all and also by an American. I didn't get any sense of her strength by the way she was portrayed and I couldn't help but think Anderson was mocking Thatcher due to Thatcher being Conservative.
