I am looking forward to this but it'll probably flop big time.

IDK people seem to love Jaws so I don't why this would flop and you have an Expendable fighting the shark lol.

Statham is really hot right now. Especially with foreign audiences. Particularly in Europe. People love disaster. People really love gonzo shark attack movies. I think this movie is gonna make a surprisingly big splash.

We need more shark movies...

I've no doubt it will make money, it's just a shame that they didn't have the foresight to make a movie more accurate to the book. The trailers make it look like a "John McClane meets Bruce from Jaws" sort of vehicle.

Disappointing.

There were about five books in the MEG series and I've read four of them. The first one was pretty good, the second and third books were okay but the fourth one was silly. I'm perplexed when I see some the cast members. Who is Ruby Rose supposed to be portraying? I think it's weird they have her in the movie.

Oh well, I guess we will see.

This is coming out with damn little competition, and it appeals to multiple generations. This is going to be HUGE. I'll bet it's pure popcorn fluff, but it will make a bunch of money.
