Having seen this compared to Stand By Me, one of my favourite films, I was looking forward to watching it. After an hour I couldn't take anymore of what must be the most annoying child actor in the history of cinema (discuss). I kept watching this long in the hope that he would be eaten by one of the wild boars or that Hec would put us all out of our misery and take him out with his rifle. I don't understand all the love on here, there or anywhere.

The kid here was believable, true to the character and all. Great performance.
I thought the kid from Robocop 2 was bad ass.
