Patty is the Best

Never saw the woman before. Never heard of the actress before. But she has my vote for Best Actress of the New Century in a TV Show. Patty makes me smile consistently, which is what this show desperately needs.

Lots of good acting and writing in this show, but I agree, I liked Patty, esp. after meeting her in-laws and seeing her character grow to meet the challenges.

I'm expecting sparks between her character and Billy in later shows, as she's listed in the cast of future seasons.

Patty is my favorite character. I like how every time a guy flirts with her she just goes, "Oh. No!" and just walks away. SHe's jaded but funny.

Absolutely.

Nina Arianda is fabulous as Patty — one of the most exciting actors today. I’m guessing everyone wants to hire her but unsure how she’d fit in other material. If I were directing I’d create a role just for her.
