Very entertaining movie!

I went to see this tonight and enjoyed it very much. I knew it was about Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs but other than that-nothing. It was a pleasant surprise to watch such a talented cast. Emma Stone and Steve Carrel are terrific in the lead roles and the surporting cast is exceptional. I love Sarah Silverman and she's got a really funny, juicy part in this. There were a lot of laughs and there was a pretty healthy crowd in the theater that were under thirty. I would feel comfortable bringing anyone above 14 to the movie. There was no bad language that I can think of but there were some adult topics included but nothing is distasteful. The movie looks really good. The costumes were incredible. I love seventies fashion so it's always a treat when the costume design is good. 7/10

It was okay. The subject matter wasn't interesting to me at all, I really hate tennis. I only watched it because Steve Carell was in it and I have to say that he made the film for me, he was great.

I agree about Sarah Silverman, love her too. I wouldn't have minded if she had a bigger part. I'd give it a 6,5/10

I hate sports and didn't even know what "match point" meant. I had to google it. No fucking clue about the weird scoring in this game. Way too athletic for me - get tired just looking at them run back and forth.

That said, to me it was not a tennis movie. It was a human rights movie with a lotta sass and som history, and that was cool. I enjoyed.
