Hopper and joyce have an absurd amount of plot armour that it’s distracting

in season 3 and 4 alone, the amount of times that hopper and joyce have multiple people shooting at them but they somehow come out completely unscathed is insane. the most egregious in my opinion is when hopper is making his first escape from the prison in s4 and he gets on the snowmobile, he has at least 10 trained russian guards with assault rifles, all with a clear shot on him, but he somehow doesn’t get hit a single time. he wasn’t even that far away lmao. i just wish that the writers would think of something a little more creative than stormtrooper aim when hop and joyce need to make their getaways.
