It makes me sad. I liked seeing her with long hair. It was interesting seeing her transform from an awkward, strange, escaped lab experiment back into a human being, and yet here she is, back to being a test subject again.
I guess they had to shorten her hair in the lab so the electrode cap would work right while she was reliving repressed memories inside NINA.
