80s Veteran Actors

One thing I find very amusing about this show, is the fact that several of the actors playing adult characters were actually LIVING during the 80s in real life.

Winona Ryder was a teenager in the 80s, and Sean Aston was a kid in the 80s. So now they're people in their 40s playing full-grown adults in a tv show about the 80s, but was filmed in the 2010s. In fact, I think that guy playing the head doctor at the laboratory (in Season 2) played a major role in one of the "Aliens" films in the 80s as well.

I have no doubt a number of the people involved in making this film were around in the 80s, so this was as much a nostalgia experience for them as it would be for viewers who were around in the 80s.
