white sex bomb vs mature black woman

white washing which is exceedingly common so i'm not surprised that helen justineau is cast as white. more surprising is the casting of a poc to play melanie who is described as so very pale and blond.
interesting , but again not surprising is people complaining about that but ignoring the common whitewashing of poc characters, or casting of white actors where no ethnicity is specified.
but it's also sexist and ageist though. let's face it; there's a reason the film has a young, white sex symbol gamboling through the zombie apocalypse, probably lusted over by the grumpy soldier whose heart will melt.
who could even get up that much interest in a mature black woman? especially if you can have a pouting bond girl.

I assume you didn't watch the film before you wrote this since the "sex bomb" is wearing military clothes all through it and the only people who lusts for her is Melanie and the hungries. And the latter lusts for her flesh, but not at all in the way you're talking about.

Also something worth thinking about, if it's ok to make Melanie black, even though she's described as having blue eyes and blond hair in the book, why can't they make Helen white and in her 30s?

i am sorry that you don't understand any of this.

My god, you libtard SJW's will cry about anything these days.

It's absolutely pathetic, and everyone is sick of your crap.

Maybe, just MAYBE the people who made the movie aren't like all you racist regressives who only pretend to be so tolerant, and they opened the auditions to people of all color. Maybe they didn't require the age range you think they did. Maybe they just picked the person who gave the best reading? You automatically think it's some "ism" of the week and jump right on your high horse to cry about it.

Not everyone sees people only for the color of their skin like you do.

People are finally starting to realize who the real racists are, they are people like you who can't see beyond the color of a person's skin and you think they need you to come to their rescue.

Only a racist sits and dissects a movie by race like you do, other people just watch it and see actors as PEOPLE, not "black actor X" or "young actress Y"

Your virtue signaling is getting really old, and you think anyone who doesn't feel your faux outrage is some intolerant hick. Truth is, you're the one with issues seeing people as people, without having to give them some sort of label you can attach to and advertise your faulty progressive thinking to the world.

Get over yourself.

sure, tell that to all the black and asian actors not getting roles due to white washing or no parts being written for them. funny how colourblind always benefits whites.

ditto sexism, and ageism, that mostly affects women of course.

simple, movie sponsors doesn't likes negros and negros doesnt sell movies.. its as simple as that, sad truth, no matter how we hate this it doesnt makes it better to use the race card to force in an untalented negros for roles they cant handle, plenty of movies lately just for the sake of racial equality they force in negros for the role and the movie tanks... just because u are a minorities doesnt mean it wont piss off others as well with your annoyance over white washing... its as simple as if u doesnt like it dont watch it, crying about it just because it does not favors the minority race for the role just wasting your the time that u can have to enjoy the movie as whole..

ps im a minority as well, lesser than the negros , but heck i enjoys watching movies from all over, even those u deem white watching .. and i enjoy lots of them, just because those are movies, a medium to entertain. if u really care about your race so much , do something about it, enter politics, make a different , help society ..etc not b@tching and crying over it on a forum... lmao

i'm NOT just talking about ''negros'' when i say poc though the woman happened to be black, and older in the book. thus racism/white washing, sexism, and ageism. the latter related to the sexism as old men are plenty portrayed, and played by older actors.
your last paragraph is nonsense.
as an old disabled woman i couldn't do any of those things. but i can say something and not watch stuff that i don't want to see.
there'#s no such thing as only entertainment.
what do you think a forum is for?
