Does Jazz's mom think she's important now?
I think the attention is getting to her head

Well this thread has become an echo chamber of only two people who can't seem to get out of their own way.
I'll just leave this here:

Blaire White is a trans woman, I know, but I don't like her really, not as a person but I disagree with nearly ALL her views.
I would not put stock in what a 22 year old woman says over what 99% of the medical and psychiatric community says.
Just b/c Blaire is trans doesn't make her an authority on this... Just as I don't care for Caitlyn Jenner b/c with her views she hurts the trans community.
The FACT is, PUBERTY BLOCKERS ARE TOTALLY 100% REVERSIBLE, so I don't know why Blaire is against puberty blockers, she never did explain that. She talked about why she's against hormone treatment for children b/c it can render them steril and she does not think a child is old enough to make a life altering decision like that, BUT hormones are NOT given to children... ONLY the puberty blockers are given at the onset of puberty, and all they do is halt puberty and buys the child some time to THINK about their decision ~about 4 or 5 years~ at any time if the child decides they want to live as their birth sex, the blocker is simply removed and puberty will set in... HOWEVER, if the child maintains they are in fact trans ~which I'm 100% convinced Jazz IS~ THEN they will administer hormone treatments and they will develop as their gender identity. And I think at age 16 ~which is generally when that would occur~ is old enough for the now TEEN to make that decision.
The thing is this is the recommended method of treatment for transgender children recommended by the APA, the psychiatric and med communities, so I'm going to listen to THEM over 22-year-old, conservative "Doctor" Blaire White.
Blaire is not calling the shots when it comes to the psychiatric community, and THANK GOD!
And you can say the psychiatric community has been "paid off" all you want to go in this direction, but when you start talking conspiracy theory then we need to see evidence!
I LOVE Zinnia Jones' videos, who is ALSO a transgender woman, but she actually knows what she's talking about.
You pretty much nailed it here.
Blaire is basically just reciting alt-right talking points and desperately attempting to present herself as one of "the good ones". One might as well consider her the trans equivalent to what Milo Yiannopoulos is to gay people.
My guess is, Blaire is very privileged, she has 100% passing privilege, I don't think her experiences as a trans person reflect the TYPICAL experience of a trans person. She is an anomaly!
Like in a hangout once she says she don't know why we trans ppl are making such a big issue over the restroom, and that she's NEVER had a problem. And I'm thinking, well YEAH when you are 100% cis passing you usually will not, but the reality is most trans ppl, esp. trans women, are not 100% passable.
THEN she even admits, "Well It seems to be the trans ppl who aren't that passable who are bitter at the world, and I guess I can understand, it would make one bitter to be looked at and stared at everywhere you go!" SO she obviously knows this is an issue, but when pressed further she always comes back with, "But I"M SORRY we are only .03% of the population...." So in other words just b/c our minority is small, we don't matter.
In a civilized society, yes we SHOULD expect accommodations to be made for EVERYONE, as best we can anyway. Even if only ONE person on the planet was transgender, that person should be respected, and accommodations should be made to fit their needs.
what 99% of the medical and psychiatric community says.
Major organizations such as the American Psychiatric Association, authors of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, have declassified being transgender. The World Health Organization plans to reclassify being transgender as a condition related to sexual health, not a mental illness, in their International Classification of Diseases (ICD). This reclassification will be official in the upcoming ICD-11, due in 2018. Even in the current ICD-10, "Gender Identity Disorder" is listed alongside "mental disorders" such as sleepwalking, insomnia, and erectile dysfunction.
The American Psychological Association states: http://www.apa.org/topics/lgbt/transgender.aspx
A psychological state is considered a mental disorder only if it causes significant distress or disability. Many transgender people do not experience their gender as distressing or disabling, which implies that identifying as transgender does not constitute a mental disorder.
Would just like to do a modified line from the Music Man that I think is appropriate... "You can talk, you can talk, you can bicker you can talk, you can bicker bicker bicker, you talk you can talk you can talk talk talk talk, bicker bicker bicker, you can talk all you want but you can't change a bigot" lol
It's like JackTheBomb said, another trans girl on Youtube I love....she says something like, A freaking neurologist could SHOW YOU the brain patterns of a trans person, show you exactly what is happening, and these bigots would still just be like, sticking their fingers in their ears like, "Nope nope nope.. mental illness.... MENTAL ILLNESS, lalalalalallala can't hear you!! MENTAL ILLNESS MENTAL ILLNESS!!!!"
You seem to make a lot of claims like this. I'm going to need actual sourced facts and figures to back this up.
This topic really got off track
