I suspected going in that this would be fan service and nostalgia. I thought it was well done and I was not disappointed

I suspected going in that this would be fan service and nostalgia. I thought it was well done.

The fan service was sprinkled through with enough time and story in between to not be so constant and also relevant enough to the story to not seem out of place or forced (for the most part).

I was not disappointed.

Watching it felt like there had to have been a third movie with the OG cast made decades earlier to create a massive franchise.

I liked it too. It was a good tribute to Egon's character.
