Yeah, I really didn't like that crap about Ray having a falling out with Egon, it seemed out of character.
shareI don't know if it's too far fetched. I've had friends whom I've had falling outs with because of obsessive behavior. Especially when it hurts financially. Ray had his bookstore as his only income after the Ghostbusters. Helping out Egon in another state is pretty difficult when you're not doing well financially.
Now, what really doesn't make sense is Egon not sending ray photos of the site and/or the soul pit. In that case, you know Ray would be into helping.
