By having the younger cast in a plot similar to Ghostbusters 1&2 like them being at a school or college, the Ghostbusters being out of business for years, having a busting at a hotel or somewhere?

The only thing I hope from this sequel/soft reboot, is that the characters that we know from the previous movies have considerable screentime and be relevant to the plot (like Han and Chewie were in TFA) and not random insignificant cameo appearances.
shareI'm not sure how to explain it, but I think this movie will have an overarching theme of family. Egon's daughter and grandkids, the original team, newcomers. They'll all come together.
