I've little doubt the Ghostbusters will once again be portrayed as looney outsiders. They're never gonna do it right so I don't give a shit what they do.

Is it too much to ask for something new and different? I liked the first Ghostbusters, but it wasn't a cinematic masterpiece, just a fun summer movie. Even the 1989 sequel failed to capitalize on the first one as it was nothing more than a retread and unoriginal at its core.
I'd blame the millennials and the centennials but this movie is being produced by baby boomers who feel the need to follow George Lucas' footsteps and retouch something that isn't broke.
I think it's way past time for a part 3 of Ghostbusters. But I will probably watch the movie out of curiosity.
