Woody Allen hasn't made anything funny in years

not since Zelig

Don't hate on contrarians

Let's see: Broadway Danny Rose, Radio Days, Bullets Over Broadway, Sweet and Lowdown, Hollywood Ending, Midnight in Paris...I think he'll be fine.

Manhattan Murder Mystery is funnier than Zelig.

reply

To you, they're not funny. To other people, they set a standard for what Woody Allen is still capable of with the right material.

reply

Funny? His movie are nothing like American Pie. "Midnight in Paris" was funny enough for a movie like that.

Feel your heart beat.

reply

Is he still married to his daughter?

reply

Are you still completely uneducated on the story? Yes, yes you are.

reply

Your OP moniker is half right. Woody married the adopted daughter of his former girlfriend Mia Farrow.

reply

Mia? The woman who took Andre Previn from his wife and kids. Then while with Woody had a son Ronan who looks like Frank Sinatra and is welcome in the Sinatra circles. That Mia?

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

reply

you forgot that Ronan is Gay. He's gay, and nobody talks about it. it's obvious. lol

reply

HAHA! that's funny! you should write his movies and make them funny. no joke.

reply

His "early, funny" films are started to seem less and less funny.

reply

You must be that ALIEN that made an appearance in STARLIGHT MEMORIES!

He's been coasting on his reputation for years.

more like his judaism. sadly, there's nepotism. have you watched "GIRLS," or anything judd apatow touches? it's stale garbage, but jewish writers and producers enable it. i just want to know why allen is scared of black people? or does he hate them? almost no decent black characters in his movies.

reply

His movies aren't straight up comedy films these days like his earlier work.

...speaking of racists...your body of work is quite impressive...

i personally thought Radio Days, manhattan Murder Mystery, Small Time Crooks, and Scoop were all hilarious. Deconstructing Harry and Bullets over broadway had some very funny scenes, Midnight in Paris had some funny bits, so did Rome with Love.
