Possible Spoilers: She was wonderfully understated but totally convincing. Fetching is the word. Seriously fetching. And she and Jesse Eisenberg have real chemistry. Much more than either do with their spouses, which makes the ending all the more poignant. Good people, married to good people, doing the right thing. Not your typical morality tale, but very nice.

The early scene of the two of them in the car, she was transfixing. Barely moving anything but her mouth, she slowly changed from a country-girl-in-the-big-city to a serious object of desire. I was taken with her just as much as Eisenberg.

Finally saw this movie last night. Stewart was breathtakingly gorgeous in this film.

Rest in peace, Roger Ebert. You were the best.

I don't intend on watching this, I only saw an ad for it and it looks a bit 'meh'. I did catch a glimpse of her in it though, she has a lovely smile, should try it more...

Vonnie (Kristen Stewart) never cried in this movie. But she got me every time her eyes welled up.

She is beautiful and enchanting, the chemistry acted between them is convincing I agree.

I'm not sure about the 'good people doing the right thing' though, Vonnie has gone from an affair with a married man to another affair with another married man - she could have had Bobby when he was single but chose not too, she wants him when he is committed to another woman though. I think there could have been real scope to explore her character further, but as the review in the film page of IMDB observes Allen does tend to write his female characters mostly regarding the effect they have on the men - it's his shtick (I don't mean that as an insult, he does his shtick very well).

My take, they were tempted, but did not cheat. I believe that is why Vonnie said they should not meet at New Year's Eve. It is also why they were so sad, thinking about the "What Ifs". It was why Bobby was so guilty, talking to his wife. He wanted to cheat. Vonnie stopped it. In the future, I could see them not being able to resisting temptation.

I guess it boils down to what we believe constitutes cheating, for me a passionate kiss (even if just once) is cheating. Emotional intimacy, in their secret meetings, I would say that is also cheating.

The clincher for me is if either of their spouses were aware of what was going on would they regard it as unfaithfulness? Bobby's wife already guesses by his changed behaviour that something is going on.

She looked beautiful but i thought she looked out of place in a period movie. Blake Lively on the other hand 
