Why would the kid want to go to the hospital at the end?

I feeel like I may have missed something. I’ll admit I was relatively high at the end of the movie to really comprehend what the fuck happened.

The murderous boy tried to kill his babysitter, but she survived.

He hopes to go to the hospital to "see her" so he can finish her off.

This kid is truly a psycho legend, and at Christmas!

Because he is a psychopath. Psychopath’s have to be in control. So when he saw she survived he wanted to be there to find out what she said and also get a chance to finish her off.
