Because the first one was actually a very funny, well written, directed and acted comedy movie (despite the confusingly high amount of hate that the film has on here) that made a lot of money and was received very positively by critics, what reasons would they have to not make another one?
Are you rushing or dragging?
Because apparently a lot of people have an IQ in single digits and found the first one amusing so they spent a whole 5 minutes on a new script and threw it out there. Unfortunately this will probably make it's money back so you can expect a 3rd one.
