The battle in the catacombs

This was a really intense and thrilling scene! In fact, to me, it felt like it was straight out of a video game...with "Bloodstone: 007" and "James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing" coming to mind.

In summary, this is DEFINITELY a film that I will be picking up on Blu-Ray when it releases to the public.

I have to agree with you. Everything with the sequel was just about perfect! I also made sure to watch the first film (which I have on Blu-Ray) before heading to the theater to watch the sequel. Both films are definitely Keanu's best work since the "Matrix" series!

That's right, the action is top-notch throughout the whole movie but I was absolutely amazed with the catacombs sequence and the mirror-room fight. These scenes are tension-filled, visually striking, and just flat-out amazing.

Seeing it more than once in theaters was the best.

Actually I didn't find these scenes to be all that great. Got repetitive and I didn't see anything original. Everything felt like I've seen it before.

The comparison to a Video game makes quite a bit of sense actually. This looked like a guy playing a Video game that he knows by heart and thus finishes it perfectly, killing all enemies. Sitting by and watching is mildly entertaining for a while but then gets a bit tedious.

Loved the movie, action from start to finish (my favorite scene was still the opening, along with any scene with Winston, he's a scene stealer). I thought the catacombs part was a bit dragged out though. Could have shaved off 3 minutes or so.
