Season 2

I hope this show gets a season 2. I really like it and I like the actors who are in it as well

Sidereel which has fairly accurate predictions thinks this show will be cancelled.

Not yet, it hasn't. I expect an announcement anytime that it won't be renewed, but so far there hasn't been one.

I enjoyed this show, but it's looking like it's over. Even Robert Kazinsky seems to be saying thanks and goodbye:

"Not a lot of people watched @secondchancefox but those that did, you're the best most supportive group, you made it all worthwhile. Thanks."

Crossing fingers there'd be a second chance for this show.

As I said, I agree. I expect an announcement of cancellation/non-renewal anytime. There just hasn't been one yet, is all.

No chance they're bringing this back again. Shame they had to throw that last two minutes out there. Otherwise a fine wrap up and cute little mini-series.

TV shows used to have 39 episode seasons.

They also used to be longer. Stuffing more commercials into a show means they have less content. Shows (1/2 hour)used to be 26 minutes long and now are 22 minutes long

Shows like All In The Family and M.A.S.H. never would make it today as they were not successful immediately and took time to build an audience. The suits would not allow it today.

Shortest series was "Turn On" . It was a Laugh In clone that was cancelled after 1 airing.

I wish it would too but I doubt it. It's a shame because everyone I know that watched it, really liked it. It was my favorite of the new season along with Limitless.

reply

You know... they didn't leave it in limbo. At least we have that. I thought it was decent. It was derivative of a few other series, including Now and Again (1999-2000), but I enjoyed what new ideas it had.

I enjoyed the single season. I'm not sure if it had legs to go more rounds, but that's fine. It isn't like I need more shows to watch.

reply

I haven't seen the show yet, but wouldn't it be ironic if it didn't get renewed, considering the name of the series.

reply

It didn't. One and done.

What a drag.

It was such a decent show.

I enjoyed this show but does anyone else see shades of a show called "Now And Again" another show that I loved that had a guy that is killed and his mind is put into a genetically engineered body with increased strength and abilities. He has to work his way back into the lives of his old Family whilst doing special jobs for the Government. It starred Eric Close, Dennis Haysbert and Margaret Collin. Surprise, Surprise this show only got one Season as well.
