May stop watching because the oldest daughter is GOD AWFUL

As long as she's not in the scene, the show does well. But as soon as she speaks I want to kick her. The girl is a bad actress, which makes her character even more infuriating. Unless she dies or does a 180, I can't watch next season, if there is one. She's so mean to her mom, and her mom just takes it! Terrible situation that I really don't enjoy watching.

The acting on this show is really bad. I will give you that.

As for the daughter being God awful, I'm pretty sure that's the point.

Yeah, but do they have to make her play the part so annoyingly bratty that the audience can't take it? It's so overboard.

Actually, all the kids in the show fit into that basket. They get progressively more annoying as they get older.

That the kids are god-awful (the two oldest ones anyway) is just the show, but that quavering voice of Mikey Madison who plays Max drives me bonkers too. She uses it all the time; I don't think she's a very good actress.

The little girl who plays Duke, though, to be so young, is very good. She especially shined in the Mormon Morgan episode.

I've gotten more used to her, and I HATED her in the pilot. Part of the reason is that it feels like Sam has been better in response to her daughters *beep*

She's pretty much a clone of Dawn from Buffy... She even did the "GET OUT!!!" thing in the last episode!

I think the acting is the shows biggest strength, especially Pamela Adlon and Mikey Madison.

I can't STAND her. Not only is the character an insufferable brat, but the actress is annoying.

She always sounds like she's about to cry.
