Interesting but a bit slow

I enjoyed watching the efforts of the main character when he secured his building, gathered supplies and his musical habits were very charming, the zombie make-up effects were quite good and the location (Paris!) was beautiful

I really liked this one but it's more about urban loneliness and a broken-hearted guy than zombies

Overall pretty good but a bit slow

I just watched it and I agree. The zombies were secondary.

He couldn't even secure the building properly. That he survived so long was a miracle. I wasn't sure whether his death would come from zombies or his mental state.

To anyone who hasn't seen it, just watch the first and last 5 minutes, you won't miss anything

I seem to have liked it better than most. I can definitely get bored by a movie if things get too slow, but I was never bored by this one for some reason.

You're in suspense, waiting for something .... anything ... to happen.

I really liked watching him do all the practical things for survival. That's something I always wish there would be more of in postapocalyptic movies.

I was not impressed at all by his efficiency. But I agree, it would have been interesting to see him figure out practically how to survive. It bothered me that this idiot would keep that zombie guy alive, that was sick.

First, clear the building of bodies. Throw them out of the window or whatever. Find tools and bolster the doors and windows. Also, why not build a signal fire on the roof? Lots of stuff would burn and create very black smoke. Were there no radios or walkie-talkies? Seems like there would be something, the Emergency Broadcasting System. Then create a good bludgeon so that he doesn't have to waste his shotgun shells. No wonder his girlfriend dumped him! ;-)

He should have thought about escape of blockade if the zombies got in, but even after many weeks he did nothing.

Another thing that bugged me was that he never apologized to the woman for shooting her.

And then there was the idiotic run out into the street to try to fetch the cat.

Why didn't he just leave some food by the door and replenish it the next day to see if he could get the cat's trust.
