shareYeah, I hate to say it but this was really, really bad. Even Luke Cage was better than this pile of garbage. Bad writing, inconsistent characters/abilities, lack of special effects... I don't think they could have made it worse if they tried.
shareThe show was great. We definitely enjoyed it!
shareWasn't as bad as IF or LC but definitely not in the league of DD and JJ.
And too many sidekicks blabbering about good and bad...
I don't understand how anyone could've been bored watching it. It didn't have the pacing problems of the other shows as it was 8 episodes long.
Also, what is boardom?
I didn't hate the show, but I did despise the Iron Fist. It's not just the actor, although he's bad too. The writing for his character does him no favors, and the inconsistency with his power is beyond stupid. I imagine most people watching the show do so over a relatively short time frame. In one episode it takes him hours to recuperate after using the fist once. A very short time later he uses the fist extensively over the course of a several minute long fight scene. Were they expecting everyone to forget the recuperation period so soon after?
Daredevil, JJ, and Luke were all more or less ok, but the current Iron Fist needs to die so the show can start over with a new one. It's really the only solution at this point.
Danny's Iron Fist is tied to his emotional state. That's why he sometimes has trouble with it.
shareIt wasn't that good to me, either. I know Netflix is on a budget, but they need to find a way to exploit more action with these superheroes. Every action sequence is a fighting sequence with barely and acknowledgement of what these people can do.
