The End
Sucks so much this is cancelled.
Is one of the only shows I watched on Syfy UK.
There is very little else on Syfy UK other than star trek & buffy reruns.
so now another show gone.

SyFy has a history of cancelling good shows whilst keeping utter crap running... I'm quite devastated. I really liked this show, even though you could feel that they didn't have loads of money to do it, they made up with strong storylines, great characters, really great cast.
What a waste.
And NCIS is in it's 45th season or something... tv executives should be shot on sight.
Yep, bummer.
shareI just heard. It is terrible news. One of the best scifi action shows to come along in years. And of course it ended on a cliff hanger!
shareMy goodness, I didn't even realize it had been cancelled. I stopped watching halfway through Season 3, and was able to binge-catch up just yesterday, the show is so much better when episodes are watched back to back.
SyFy is unbelievable. Why would you cancel on a cliffhanger?
I like it, but I felt they were just padding it along. The whole Ryo Ishida thing just dragged and dragged, forcing him to act Worf-style with bluster and that warrior thing. They should have resolved that in no more than half a season.
There were also more than couple of throwaway shows each season. That's okay in a 22-episode season, but in a 13-eqpisode season it becomes a high percentage of the total output.
I hope it get a second life, but if so, it needs to be tighter, punchier, with better writing.

Netflix has the streaming rights, so why not the rest?
This show could use one more season. I just got around to watch s3 and the pace felt really great (I guess they sped it up because of the cancel), I don't think it was the best show ever but it was good enough to warrant one more season at least, I feel like it was getting better and better.
shareThe reason was money and ownership. Not the quality of the show, which was excellent.
It was not a "sci-fi" production and was more costly for them to produce and they wouldn't own the show outright like they do the (mostly) lame shows they produce in house.
