- Why does the ship look stripped down to the foundations? Everywhere bare steel bulkheads, steel gratings, etc.

- Clearly Zairon is based on Japanese themed medieval cultural life. I wonder about the backstory of that world and how it came to resemble a particular Earth culture.

- I wonder to what degree the portrayal of the Android is based on Star Trek's V'ger probe?

I really love the shuttle in this show. It's quite plain and boring. It's just a steel cabin, with a bunch of airplane seats in it, and one small cockpit with controls. I think that's what shuttle crafts would actually look like. They wouldn't be all fancy like in Star Trek. They'd just be space planes.
