Most places do not consider a person over the age of 18 a child, as they have all rights of a adult and if commit a crime will be treated as a adult.

Legally, yes. Unfortunately studies have shown that psychologically the average person is not "mature' until over the age of 22(?) 24(?) (on average).

Yup, I've never seen a teenager with big boobs.

And let's see: 16 + unknown amount of stasis time (do you age in stasis?) + two years on ship = 18 or 19. Still a teen but I've seen 15 year olds more built that her.

No, I think the whole point of stasis is that you do not age as your body is essentially frozen, to allow for lengthy travels without it affecting your body. Stasis means inactivity.

That was my thinking but every time I make an assumption some (let's say) fan responds with some the a director or writer said in an interview for a Swedish magazine or some such similar circumstance. I find it best to hedge my bets 

I've seen 12 year olds with incredible racks ( well only one ). She could easily be a teenager with healthy lungs.

Is this the first time you've watched a TV show, ever? 20 somethings playing teens is extremely common. She was in her 20's when the show started which means she hasn't "grown" at all since the start of the show. She is playing a 16 year old and looks younger than most people playing 16 year olds on TV.

Also, most women mature physically in their mid to late teens, so no she is not "too big".

No not to old she still look young and this is not 20 years ago girls now grow real fast a lot of high school and even jr high girls could pass as 20 year olds with the way there bodies grow so fast must be in the milk or something.

Not to mention this is the future or an advanced area of space. Who knows how much hormones there are in the food by then? Or gene tinkering. Or just different genes for that matter.

Nope because some teens grow in that way, if that were the case then for one Ariel Winter shouldn't be playing her real age of 18 on Modern Family. Ariel's body shape is much the same as Jodelle Ferland's and has been since she was 15, with Ariel actually having a breast reduction a year and a bit ago (http://www.glamour.com/story/ariel-winter-breast-reduction).

I cannot remember what age she plays nor do I care. Instead of measuring the size of her "large boobs and ass" I watch the show.
