Disney giving out free poster in attempt to pass Avatar
Lame
shareWhy is that lame according to you?
shareso don't go.
i'm looking forward to seeing it again.
i've seen it twice, & wanted to go a third time, but the time commitment always kept me away.
but the fact they're making a little event out of it makes me excited to see it one last time in the theatres.
Endgame already passed Avatar without re-release , Endgame $2.751 vs Avatar $2.749
sharethat is not how it works, Avatar still #1
share[–] darkpast (2096) 2 minutes agoBut not for long, maybe.
that is not how it works, Avatar still #1.
The film that makes the most money, is always the new #1. This includes all releases and not adjusting for inflation. Avatar still 30m+ ahead of Endgame, it doesn't matter if special edition is included.

lol this is one of the worst Fails I've ever seen...
the poster isnt claiming Endgame is the New #1...
He just pointing out and Its Just A Fact....that Endgame Beat Avatar's Original Gross...
now with EGs re-release....theres a new comparison with both films having re-releases
If EG comes up short(which IMO it Will) then Its Just a fact that ...
Avatar Beat EG with Both films having a Re-Release.
lol You cant change facts because you dont like them....EG beat Avatar's Original Gross .....Period....

SO... WHAT YOURE SAYING IS...ENDGAME SUCKS AND IS A LOSER OF A FILM BECAUSE ONE OTHER FILM IN THE HISTORY OF FILMS MADE A BIT MORE MONEY.....DUDE, GO BACK IN THE CLOSET AND BLOW YOURSELF.
^^^
this wasnt directed at me was it?
I don't want to argue semantics here, but I wouldn't call this a re-release. This is an expansion with a marketing ploy included, but not a re-release. For a movie to have a re-release the film must have been taken out of the theaters completely, and Endgame, before the expansion, was still on its original run. I am pretty sure that if we look into Avatar's run we will find an expansion in some moment during its time in theaters, the only thing different is that they probably did not market the expansion with some marketing maneuver, since they weren't looking for any specific goal (the already were No.1 film) like Endgame is.
Also, Avatar's re-release was done Worldwide. While this expansion with the marketing trick is only made in North America. So no, we cannot count this as THE re-release of Avengers Endgame. Next year or in 10 months (as Avatar did) when (or if) Endgame returns to the screen, then we can call it Endgame re-release.
DAMN...SCHOOLED THE HUMAN HANDJOB.
shareWhy do you think a free poster would entice people to buy a ticket?
A lot of new movies have similar free giveaways, like posters, wristbands, all sorts of stuff.
To think it's to make people to buy tickets is moronic.
Oh no! Disney are using a marketing tactic to help promote and sell a product.
