It's interesting to try to figure out what character could cause as much of a threat as Thanos. If they want to go with size, I think they will introduce Galactus but they could also go with Victor Van Doom and do an adaptation of Secret War.

shareDo you expect there to be more Avenger movies instead of this just now branching off into each individual super hero fight......Spider Man will fight the next local bad guy.....the Guardians of the Galaxy will be off fighting some bad dude or group, Ant Man and the Wasp will be dealing with another local situation....etc.
I was leaning towards thinking the Avenger movies with everyone together are pretty much over.....unless they try to re-cast Iron Man, Thor, Captain America.....etc. and go back and have a prequel about some of their other battles they've had throughout the years.
An Avenger movie with Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Sam (with Cap's shield), Ant-Man, The Black Panther, Valkyrie...etc., is that what you are referring to as far as another super villain?
Would fans turn out big for that type of Avenger's group? Maybe, I guess we'd have to see.
I think they are going to do a lot more team-ups, putting int two superheroes in the same movie as they did with Winter Soldier and Thor Ragnarok. Maybe Black Panther will have Winter Soldier in it, Guardians with Thor, Captain Marvel with Valkyrie or something.

Comics constantly reset reality through cosmic events.
The stones still exist and so that means anything is possible. If they want to, they can have everyone come back, restart a new universe, or whatever.
Iron Man from universe 46 could show up, and so forth. The TV show Flash does an excellent job of this with a scientist character on the show. The actor who plays him is great great and has played many alternate universe versions of the character. All you have to do is do a good job writing it, and then it's acceptable.
Anyway, if Marvel can do a good Fantastic Four then you can have that, a quality Silver Surfer movie, very good story, and then Galactus can show up. He's the one that made Surfer. He comes to Earth and the FF fight him, but the story can be increased to include Avengers.
Marvel has had success with serial stories and crossovers and they need to keep that going.
Who will be next? I thought this was supposed to be the last of these movies.
