So Loki...
I would imagine now that Loki from 2012 used the tesseract to travel through a portal, that would be the basis for his Disney+ series? Thanos was technically correct. No resurrectionresurrections this time.

shareWe still don't even know how he got ressurected the last 2 times. At least this time we get an explanation, instead of him just turning up alive.
shareThe first time it appears he dies it isn't confirmed he's dead. The second time was just an illusion. He's never actually been resurrected in the traditional sense of the word because he never actually died.
shareExplain to exactly which parts of the things that happened in the scene where Loki died were an illusion.
shareIn Thor The Dark World, Thor Loki helps Thor to fake his hand being cut off so they can get the upper hand on Malekith though in the same scene it also appears that Loki dies. Literally at the end of the movie you see Odin on the throne, but he turns into Loki showing that it isn't actually Odin on the throne. It's shown in Thor Ragnarok too near the very beginning when Thor comes back from where Surtur is.
The whole death was an illusion.
You haven't answered my question. When loki faked his hand being cut off, Thor was in on it. Were all of the Dark elves and the spaceship and illusion? The dark elf guy impaled Loki. Or was he in on it too? Does that make any sense? no.
shareYeah I have. He handled the death illusion the same way he did with Thor's hand except no one was in on it. What don't you get about it?
Not even sure why it matters. That's not even the point of this thread dude.
Those reports about the Loki series are making more sense now...
the series will follow Loki as the trickster and shape-shifter pops up throughout human history as an unlikely influencer on historical events.
That actually sounds really interesting to be honest. I think Endgame did a good job setting up all the Marvel series announced for Disney+.
shareI hate retconning character development but that's comics 101. Kind of sucks. I love where Thor and Loki ended up. But that look on Loki's face when the tesseract literally tumbles into his hands was absolutely priceless. "Well that was a freebie."
shareThe way I see it, it's not the same Loki that died in Infinity War, but a Loki from a different universe essentially.
