You're aware of the existence of black-Americans, right?
shareAnd they are the majority identity in the United States? So why should THE symbol for America within the MCU, Captain America, be a black person .... beside of virtue signing?
And even more important: How demeaning is this for black persons. That Disney thinks that all black persons could do is take over existing famous roles! Thats nothing else then racism. Black Panther was a good step to build up a black super hero from the ground up. But switching the skin color of an well established character is simply racism, cause it implies that black persons cant create their own popular characters.
Falcon became Captain America in the comic.
The first Captain America was black in the comics.
It sounds like you have a problem with the comics and black people, not the film.
