The Goal Here was to focus and end/culminate The stories of Tony,Cap,Widow,Hawkeye,Hulk and Thor
Captain Marvel is going to Be in 2 more SOLO films and 3 More Avengers movies at least over the next decade....there will be plenty of time for her character.....Endgame needed to focus on The Core characters.
nothing went on behind the scene, except this is how the movie was written from the beginning...The Goals of Endgame were So important and so Specific...Kevin Fiege said it many times Endgame "was an Ending/Conclusion" for the MCU as we know it and for The Original Avengers.
They knew when writing this movie CM was going to be in at least 5 more film over the next decade....Endgame was likely going to be the Final movie for Evans,RDJ,Rufflow and Possibly Hemsworth....
I think Captain Marvel's screen time is: 15 minutes in the movie.
