Is the romance between Steve and Bucky text, or subtext?
They left everything behind to be together, I don't know how more obvious it could be, without actual sex. And there is no actual sex in comic book movies.

shareI think it's just an old, classic bromance.
It's a bit sad how they are blue balling Thor, though.
First the chemistry he had with Valkyrie ended up nowhere.
Now there is anticipation for something with Captain Marvel.
And apparently we'll end up with neither, and with a Valkyrie + Captain Marvel instead.
They're friends.
It bugs me that a lot of people in various fandoms don't understand friendship. This goes for friendships between males, between females, or between people of opposite genders. I have to wonder what sort of friendships people in these fandoms have.
I agree AP. I don't get these people who think that 2 guys hugging each other automatically makes them gay. I am a straight guy and have hugged other guys. Maybe it is bad masculinity. Like these people think the only straight guys are the ones who hate hugging and go around talking about how they got laid with a woman in graphic detail. I frankly would never do that cause it's inappropriate. But some fools out there will insist just because I hug a guy I am gay. It's stupid.
