Why on earth would they still hire him if he cannot even be trusted with basic script confidentially?

Benedict Cumberbatch was the only one who had a full script.

This isn't the only source I found saying only Benedict was allowed to read the entire thing. This article said Downey read it all "to a certain extent", whatever that means.
And like I said, Chris Evans said himself on Good Morning America on Monday he read it all.

The only ones who hadn't that I've heard them say right from their own lips is Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland. The ones who have read it said that with their own voices. Not coming from a site called INFO PLASTIC SURGERY.

And yes, Evans eventually got his hands on a full copy and this article shows only he, Cumberatch, and apparently Downey and Pom pulled that off.

But my point stands, Marvel has forbid most of its cast from reading full scripts. Only four castmates got to see the whole script and for the longest time, it was only one person. Holland and Ruffalo are not alone in this.
