Captain Marvel - $426.3 million beats Wonder Woman - $412.5 million domestically. Highest grossing female superhero!

The last real milestone it needed and it's still has plenty of gas in the tank! Captain Marvel truly is the most popular female superhero character.

Wonder Woman - $412,563,408

It was already the biggest grossing female superhero film worldwide and the also by far the most profitable. Now it's officially become the highest grossing female superhero domestically as well. What an amazing achievement!

lol it sounds good until you find out this played in 300 more theaters than Black Panther did and they treated this like an Avenger Movie and that's why they played it saw so many trailers for it in coming to theaters a in so many they kinda failed tho I didn't find out that it was coming out on DVD and Blu Ray if they had YouTube ads for the I didn't see them this month I didn't know this was coming out until i looked up the DVD Blu Ray release date for Shazam! the real Captain Marvel

Who cares? Wonder Woman was a better tmovie anyway. And I'm not a Marvel vs. DC guy either.

Captain Marvel was a much better film than Wonder Woman, by my reckoning anyway. Wonder Woman was too heavy-handed, poorly paced, had a love story that felt flat, and suffered from crappy CGI. It completely fell apart in the final act.
