How is it, that even with RT constantly scrubbing away thousands of negative reviews, the movie is still only at 63% user rating? A "tiny almost non existent minority" certainly would have gotten totally overwhelmed by the unbelievably vast majority (nearly 100% according to you), right?
Certainly the unbelievably vast majority would have raised the Metacritic score by now? Pumped up the IMDB rating to like what, an 8.5? I mean we're talking about an opinion that is NEARLY NONEXISTENT, according to you. Certainly we wouldn't have any kind of constant back-and-forth discussion and debate on the internet when talking about a NEARLY NONEXISTENT amount of people. Right?
This "small minority" argument was also used for The Last Jedi. It seems to be wheeled out whenever the public doesn't overwhelming support these corporate tent-poles. "Oh it's just trolls, pay no attention to those people - I mean trolls - over there... GIVE US MONEY, YOU WILL LOVE IT". And then the small-minded pleb fanboys fall in line, as expected.
But your argument that people who post reviews on internet message boards represent the majority is equally false. It's a vocal minority of viewers, some of who ARE agenda driven on both sides. In this case, we've SEEN angry incels so scared of women that they blasted the movie long before it came out (like the OP). So yes, internet reviewers ARE a small minority. Simple math tells you that.
