How come I've never heard of this show? This is a syfy channel production? I wish they would continue V. This type of show is my cup of tea. Can't believe I never accidentally seen an ad, a commercial, etc. WOW. I'm only here from searching info on Colony.

While I can understand the venom from book purists, I agree that was a powerful, emotional and poignant offering, especially shocking considering it was a SyFy Channel offering. Haters gonna hate, individual mileage may vary.



The story is a ten, especially by science fiction standards.

The production value, acting, and effects were about a 7.

I rated it a 8 but would definitely say I loved it and will recommend it. It's a rare thing for sci-fi to have so much depth and humanity. The fact that more people aren't raving about this show disappoints me. Sci-fi fans used to be dependable to spread the word about a good new show or movie, but this one barely registered on most people's radar... and it is EXCELLENT.

Seriously, if you don't have a little bit of mist in your eyes when the credits roll, you aren't human. This show gets my highest recommendation for sci-fi fans. Don't listen to the haters. And watch it to the end! Unlike most stories on TV, this story actually goes somewhere jaw-dropping in the third part. You have to be pretty small-minded to laugh at that stuff and feel no wonder at all. I wouldn't trim a second from this miniseries.
