It goes out in a heroic hellfire of bullets that is akin to Tony's death scene at the end of Scarface. The violence that the kitty reaps upon it's enemies beforehand is utterly unimaginable though, you have to see it to believe it.

No harm comes to any of the animals in the film. Keanu/New Jack/Iglesias makes it to the end of the movie without a scratch.

He dies in a massive shoot-out with cops in his mansion which was fuelled by his massive illicit trade in catnip.

Ironically, he falls into a pool at the end... why did he even have that when he was terrified of water? lol

It's a comedy so of course the kitty survives - otherwise it would be a tragedy. And no one would want to see a movie where Keanu dies!

Hence no Animal Farm, Old Yeller, Bristleface, etc.

I check in advance and if the dog dies, I pass on the movie, no matter how good it is.
