You notice that the black audience is very selective?


Some movies they fully support, others they kinda support...then there's movies like this, that they DON'T support .

Some of the reasons are pretty obvious. One of the lead actor/actresses is of mixed race, and not considered "black". Or the actor has a real life white spouse...but yet there's instances where the actors are totally black, such as the Wayans Brothers, and their films get no support. I suspect because the supporting cast is mostly white.

There's films from Tyler Perry that WERE supported? But today are considered offensive portrayals, and avoided. Very difficult demo to get a grasp on.
