Decent premise for a movie somewhat ruined by bad dialogue

Serial killer movies are fun. Twists are fun, though the last scene was just stupid. Chasing a killer across Europe is different. The cast seems willing.

However, I cringed at some of the dialogue. The exposition was blatant and obvious, some of the stuff Morgan and others had to say was just forced and hard to swallow. It needed someone to get in there and clean it up or let the actors do some ad lib. It didn't feel natural.

totally agree. i kept thinking the same thing. way way too OTN. i kept thinking, 'what JV writer did this script?' lol

also agree the end was silly

i just looked at the credits.

lotta writers, too many. also, the writer names are all slavik which may be an explanation for the cringy dialogue; meaning, maybe it's because their english isn't good enough to do anything other than have the characters state exactly what they are thinking. (just a theory)

it was based on a james patterson book. yawn. he puts out, what, ten a year now?

two other things i did care for was JDM's crying scenes. over the top imo. famke's bad facelift. dude, smh!

Hey, don't knock Patterson's books. I traveled cross-country several times entertained by audiobook versions of his stories. They always kept me interested and awake.

they're probably entertaining. I just think he sold out in recent years.
